Arthur1/11Arthur is still a meek tech geek, but now he’s obsessed after being traumatized as a child when his father was killed. Arthur knows that the villain responsible is still somewhere in the world, terrorizing, and needs to find him. The show is actually Arthur’s story.<><> The pilot episode of The Tick is up on Amazon right now, as part of their pilot program that selects what shows they choose to order for full seasons. Fans of the cult-classic comic book and cartoon already got their chance at a live action TV show back in 2001 when Patrick Warburton donned the goofy blue superhero’s duds, but it was a mere nine episodes aired before it was canceled. That show itself has become something of a cult classic itself, as more people found it after it got unceremoniously dumped. Now it’s been revived with the one and only Peter Serafinowicz in the lead role, Griffin Newman as his sidekick (and true main character of the show?) Arthur, and Jackie Earle Haley as the villain The Terror. We took a look at it and found many changes to the series- some of which will be welcome for fans, and some which are a bit puzzling. But either way this is a really solid pilot and we can’t wait to see more adventures of the mismatched pair, which will hopefully happen if enough people watch it and rate it. So definitely check it out here if you’re interested and you can help the world have more Tick in it.For now let’s take a look at all the ways that this new Tick is different.
