Ticket requests should be emailed to [email protected] Tickets requests cannot be phoned in or texted in. Email only. A date for collection will be announced on the club’s Facebook page. 5k a huge successThe monthly meeting of the club held last Monday heard a report on the huge success of last week’s annual 5k. Special thanks was given to all those who contributed in any way to the event. Club chairman Peter McConnell said the event was a huge success. A special word of thanks went to all those who participated, volunteered or helped out in any way with our Free Health Check /Screening at the 5k . Your help and support was very much appreciated.CongratsCongrats to Paddy Devine from Newmills who scooped the club lotto of €6,700 last week. The lotto hadn’t been won for more than three years. The club would like to wish Paddy, wife Mary and family the best of health to enjoy their windfall. U12 girls blitzThe U12 girls team will host a blitz on July 18th next against a number of clubs including St Nauls and Robert Emmetts. Further details will be released closer to the time.Laurence McGinty Memorial CupClub chairman Peter McConnell has thanked Glenfin, Cloughaneely and Termon for taking part in the Laurence McGinty Memorial Cup recently.Well done to the county lads A big well done to the club players on the county team – Neil Gallagher, Gary McFadden and Michael Murphy – for yet another battling display against derry in the Ulster semi-final in Clones last weekend. Roll on the final.BingoBingo continues to attract a large number of players to the club each night and with more than €2,000 in prize-money, the number of players are steady each week.
